Association of Women Refugees from Rwanda (AFERWAR-DUTERIMBERE) in DR Congo are imploring international ONGs especially those in charge of refugees and /or human rights, to resolutely get involved in solving Rwandan Refugees problem in DRC in general, particularly addressing the condition of women and children whose lives are endangered by the recent war waged by Democratic Republic of Congo Defense Forces (FARDC) and Rwandan Defense Forces (RDF) infiltrators.

The point of grave concern is a clearly manipulated involvement of the MONUSCO troops in worsening the refugee`s condition by sidelining FARDC and RDF infiltrators. Soon or later, never be surprised to hear them saying “sorry for our mistaken involvement”, but in meantime, their common agenda will have irreversibly been fulfilled.

Hungry, sick, terrorized and totally destitute women and children are permanently displaced under heavy rain in makeshift camps having left behind their living activities (farming), without and helping hand coming to them. If the international community is not moved by their current situation, it can only be as a result of conspiracy at United Nations Headquarters.

As an effort to reverse the current state of things, we urge all our friends and partners individuals and organizations to urgently organize an information campaign worldwide to speak out on our behalf and denounce all-time conspiracy we have been victim of for so long. The survivors of the past killings and others atrocities of DRC who are now in Europe and elsewhere may be at frontline of that campaign because they remember what they have been through- which is our constant reality on the ground.

In conclusion, we would like to urge all biased decision-makers responsible of our present suffering as well as their proxies, to think twice and change their mind for the sake of human dignity for all, especially WOMEN and CHILDREN.

Made in Rutshuru, DRC, July 9, 2016
